There is also a suggestion of Greek food in Old Colorado City, with restaurants like the Wine Bar serving Greek cuisine. Also, try hops and bar4ley instead of wine and roses at the Trinity Brewery on the Garden of the Gods Rd. And, the last and most likely more romantic idea, cook your own food with Ranch Foods Direct meat, local wine, and dessert.
Personally, I think that this is a waste of time. Valentine's day is a farce to me, and it doesn't hold any romance. Go to the link below and read the full artical on this dull topic, and please post your thoughts.
I do like Valentine's Day, but I see your point. Your comment about making up for past mistakes is something I haven't thought of.
ReplyDeleteI also think that every day is an opportunity to show someone you care...but this day is a good reminder.
Valentines day doesn't HAVE to be romantic. It can just be about love in general! You could spend a nice day with your mom, dad, grandma, or anyone else you really care about and love. hey, my momma got me a valentine this year:)
