Today, my dad went out to go for a ride on his bike to Jimmy's house. Later on we heard on the radio that someone driving a truck with a horse trailer attached to it hit someone on a motorcycle. Jimmy doesn't live near the area where this happened, but mom and I are still hoping that it isn't dad.
Please, if you believe in God or not, we still will be needing help to get through our fears if it is dad, and if it is then I will be needing a job. maybe even two. I just hope it isn't, because we do not have the right resources to take care of our family, even if it isn't him. I'm hoping to get a job, but... work is hard to find out here.

Squeaky Floors
A GMC Trade secret
1.) Find the squeak on the floor and put babypowder on it.
If this doesn't work, then you need to go beneath the floor and look a for a gap in it and put polyurathane inside the gap.
Wierd, Huh? Anyone have a squeaky floor and a basement? Try this babypowder/polyurathane idea and maybe it will go away.

Amazing if it works, right? I sure could use this trick to sneak out of the house and walk around without my parents noticing.. Hah. See you guys later, maybe next year or over the summer..

Currently
I have a question for you, do you believe in the scientific theory of how we came to be all the way to the BIG BANG theory, or is it up to a point?
A scientist says that even the atom is hard to explain. "Many phenomena still make us fearful, but the advance of science spares us from irrational dread." quoted from the article. I can dispute this, because I have found more security in believing that someone is out there watching over me rather than we are alone.
"All must be guided by the knowledge that 21st-century science can offer - but inspired by an idealism, vision and commitment that science alone can't provide." This is truer than the last quote.
What this guy is trying to tell is is that Science and Religion are compatible. I know that this is true because I am able to live in both worlds. I believe in scientific theory, up to a point. Even if two super atoms had crashed into eachother, SOMEONE had to have made that course for them ready and real. SOMEONE had to create the super atoms.

I make my point here. God did create the world in seven days, but that is seven days his time. Billions of years our time. GET USED TO IT. Deathwalker out.

Fire danger
WE have a red flag warning on fire danger this year, its been so dry. Temperatures are to be 70 degrees and wind is to travel at 30 mph. Though we might get some snow it won't help to wet the earth and plants to keep this who area from burning.

Be sure to water around your houses alot, specially if your miles away from someone. Care for plants that aren't in your garden, they burn, your house will burn down. Also, when in danger of a fire, be sure to have some stuff packed away, and also if you have pets, some of their food packed incase if you need to make an imediate departure from your home.
This is DeathWalker signing out. Watch for those tiny sparks that pop up, they're the ones that get you.

Did you know?
Did you know that there was flooding in Australia? Yeah, there was. Rescuers and Rangers have been saving wallabies from lakes and islands in the lakes.

Yes, that is a wallaby, not a kangeroo. Rangers have so far saved 100 of these cute little animals using boats and nets and then they put them back where they belong. About 200 more are hoped to have been rescued. Even so, food for the wallabies is running low and they could be eaten by freshwater crocodiles. In order to help solve the food problem, wild life conservationists have been dropping hay and pellets in the area. Some of the wallabies may have even died from heat stress.
Now what caused the flooding in Australia? the earthquake in Japan? Most likely. See if you can find it in your heart to help out animals that need your help. DeathWalker out.

Original Narnia
Yes, I am a C.S. Lewis fan, no I do not like what they are planning to do with The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. A.) There was never a green mist in the book or the original Narnia movies. B.) Until now, they haven't screwed up, but the mist part pi**** me off because I have never read about it in the books.
What the f*** people, DO NOT make this movie like that, because that is not how it has ever happened, nor how it should happen. Sure, Caspian is looking for seven lords, but because they were banished by Caspians Uncle.

This scene i understand, because it is in the book, the green mist isn't. HOW MUCH DO YOU HATE IT WHEN THEY SCREW UP A GOOD MOVIE?

Preparing for the End
I read in an article today that there are people who are preparing for the end of the world. A 69 year old woman has bought horses incase she doesn't have gas for her car. She even bought a geodesic dome to grow foods for herself, she also plans to can stuff.
No matter what happens in the future, we should all prepare for it. Heck, people in El Paso are buying up guns, gas masks, and even bunkers, preparing for the worst and hoping for the best. What I think we should do though is prpare to have to hunt for our food again, like the Native Americans. We could try to make our own bullets, granted I have no idea where we would get gun powder from.

What would you guys do to prepare for the end of the world, if there is one? If we could no longer have cars because there is no more gasoline for them? If everything flooded or if we had nuclear explosions, or if we even just have a failing economy? Give me your thoughts about it after reading the full article in the link below.

End of the World
When will the end of the world come about? some believe it will be 12-21-2012, four days before the "birth" of Christ. But then, how will it end?
Some believe that first the Antichrist will come, and then seven years later Christ will come and take those who became Christians after his true believers were taken into heaven. Others believe in a natural disaster that will contribute to the end of earth. With what has happened in Japan, I have no doubt about the latter.
After the earthquake that shook Japan, radiation has been found in the ocean and in the soil. In fact, there is even a twelve mile evacuation zone that residents have been encouraged to stay out of until the cantamination has been cleaned up. Some of the units have been tested to have a radiation amount 100,000 times more than the usual dose.
But what will the end of the world be like? Will it be some world war III or will it be something that no one has even thought of, like a meteor falling from the sky and creating megatons of dust, nuclear winters and summers. The truth is that no one can predict the future. Give me your own thoughts about the end of the world, and not someone elses ideas that the whole world believes.

Tsunami- the end or the beginning
There was disaster in Japan this weekend with the tsunami wiping away most of the houses and apartments that were very near the coast. At least 350 are dead and 500 are missing in this destruction. The earthquake that caused the tsunami was 8,000 times stronger than the one that hit New Zealand last month. This wave struck at 500 mph before hitting Hawii and the U.S. coast. This quake was strong enough to move the coast 8ft, even shift the earths axis a little bit.
Is this the end or the beginning of life for the human race? I believe that it may as well be a sign to our fellow homosapians that we need to change for the benefit of life. Our lives depend on Earth, yes, but has anyone stopped to think that Earth might decide that she no longer needs us polluting her air and her land? She used to need humans to take care of her, and now she is giving us the clue to start to our real job and quit being so petty about how to deal with terrorists or even gas problems.
An old Native American predicted that one day the Earth will flood, but not all of it. Anyone above 6,000 ft. of elevation would survive the tsunami's. But, this still means a lot of change in our weather. Think about it and give me your thoughts.

Chaos Theory
Underlying order in random Phenomena.
The movie 21 Grams if a perfect example of Chaos Theory. Three people who have never met each other are brought together with a phenomena, the order unrevealed until the end of the movie. It jumps backwards and forwards, much like the flashbacks of other movies.
If you watch this movie, you will see the order in the chaos, yet if any of you have a problem with chaos theory, then don't watch it. Yet, there are many reasons why you should watch 21 Grams. In my opinion, the best one if to try and find order in the chaos before the movie ends. There is shooting, drugs, and other stuff in this strange movie.
Give me you thoughts and comments when you learn about this movie. Then, tell of a situtation that has been like chaos theory to you.

RANDOMNESS HAS STRUCK THE NATION
My mood today was clearly random, for I was happy and hyper at the same time. Meanwhile, a student who always seems like this was p'ode about something. Aaron and I even both decided the best couple to rule the depths of HE-double hockey sticks- would be Rachel and Darren. Also, the U.S. is owned not by the people of America, but by China, Brazil, Japan, ect.
Now, this is the climax of the Random Features blog. I left my clay at home, tried to get my bad mood back by fighting with Aaron, yet I still have that annoying happy feeling.
Okay, give me your views on who you think, as a couple, could rule the underworld. Oh, and tell me about your mood, it might help to prove that, indeed, Randomness has struck the Nation.

Surprising expires
There are a few things that surprisingly expire in your home, from candles to baking soda. If a candle loses its scent, then it has gone bad. If you use baking soda for more than thirty days in your fridge, then it won't work as well to absorb odors and has gone bad.
Even potholders and glass cleaner seem to expire before their due time. Surface spray can last up to six months while glass cleaner up to two years or more. Don't even think about your kitchen sponge being safe, you should microwave if to kill of the germs that you get while from cleaning your house. Oh, and dish racks, when they crack or rust, get rid of them.

Personally, I believe it. Nothing is meant to last forever, and if something does, then it has an immortal quality to it. Read the full article by clicking the link below and give me your thoughts.

Valentines day
Kate Jonuska has some suggestions for where to eat this valentines day. She believes that it ius best to eat in a local area. So far, there are some places that I haven't even heard of that have been posted for a last minute reservation for your sweetheart.
* Craftwood Inn in Manitou Springs
* Adam's Mountain Cafe in Manituo Springs
* Blue Star on Trejon St. (Plaza of the Rockies.)
* Nosh on Trejon St.
* Margerita at Pine Creek
* Cliff House in Manitou Springs
Kate also suggested the Bistro de Pinto with hormone free, anti-biotic free, and steroid free meat within 200 miles. For a new restauerant, TAPAteria on 2607 w. Colorado Ave. Yet her suggestions for an upscale eating place are in areas were reservations might not be possible.
* Mona's Wine Cellar at Mona Lisa's in Manitou Springs
* Red Mountaion Lodge at the Cliff House
* Marigold Bakery on 4605 Centinnial Blvd.
There is also a suggestion of Greek food in Old Colorado City, with restaurants like the Wine Bar serving Greek cuisine. Also, try hops and bar4ley instead of wine and roses at the Trinity Brewery on the Garden of the Gods Rd. And, the last and most likely more romantic idea, cook your own food with Ranch Foods Direct meat, local wine, and dessert.

Personally, I think that this is a waste of time. Valentine's day is a farce to me, and it doesn't hold any romance. Go on ahead and disagree, but all v-day is about is trying to make up for the past that you will never forget. Go to the link below and read the full artical on this dull topic, and please post your thoughts.

Violent movies lower crime rates
According to the New York Times, would be assialants watched violant movies instead of becoming violent themselves. When a new violent movie is in theaters, the crime rates drop because all the murderers and rapists, ect; are satisfied with what the actors do on the screen. Yet some people still believe that this cannot be true, that no one would ever be subdued by a violent movie; perhaps influenced, but not subdued. Also, the critics believe that even a comedy is able to help lower crime rates, but that is still being decided. I beleieve that this could be true. Seriously, pyschologists know that music can affect a person, so why can't a movie? Anyways, movies are a way to get rid of some of our most creative ideas. It doesn't take that long to make a violent movie and keep the crime rates down while it is in theaters or on DVD.
